About Me.

My journey,
starts by thanking all the amazing people that I have met in my life. I have always gone out of my way to surround myself with wonderful, positive people. I have truly achieved that. I have always made an effort in my life to enjoy people and have a good time. And I will continue to do so. In 1997, I graduated and started my own business in massage therapy. After several years of success, I decided to venture into a network marketing business where I was first introduced to Richard Step’s bird personality. This really resonated with me as I led a successful team. Although that was a relatively short stint in my life, I learned a lot. It was in 2011 that I was given an opportunity to teach a professional development/communication class at McKay Career college in Saskatoon. My very gracious director there gave me the freedom and flexibility to teach the bird personality to the class of students/young adults. This proved to be a pivotal point in my life. The day I taught the bird personality to those students, I saw the dynamics of the class change. Quiet, reserved students became confident... The leaders became more respectful to others. The students that were alone were now part of the group. It was astonishing really. At the end of that year, half of the students wrote me a personal letter stating that the bird personality had changed their lives. It still brings tears to my eyes at some of their stories. They didn’t know it at the time, but the students changed my life too. I knew I could make a difference. I finished teaching at the college and was very happy being a mother to 2 young boys, a partner and a business owner. I became invested in my family and teaching was on the back-burner. Fast forward and now my children are entering middle school and high school. I could see the growing trend of bullying, vengeance, drug overdose and suicide among the young people. I knew I could give the young generation confidence. The ability to feel good about themselves and not feel alone, the strength to say no. With a kick in my butt from one of my clients, and the strong encouragement from my partner at my side, I had a sleepless night. I woke up in the morning, thanking my client and my partner for the encouragement and committed to write my story by the end of the week…. My goal is to help you identify your own personal strengths and weaknesses, as well as identifying those around you and then take that information to help you effectively communicate with others. This will be a life changing journey. |
